Eight Misconceptions About Diabetes

by

On November 13, 2019,  for  Diabetes Awareness Month, and I had the honor of being featured on Let’s Be Well, a site co-created by AARP, the American Heart Association, and the American Diabetes Association. For the blog post, I discussed eight misconceptions about diabetes. The article mainly focused on type 2 diabetes.

Unfortunately, the Let’s Be Well website no longer exists. However, you can find the same topic addressed right here on my blog site. I recommend that you read these two posts:

  1. Common Misconceptions About Type 2 Diabetes (Part 1)
  2. Common Misconceptions About Type 2 Diabetes (Part 2)

You’ll learn about long-standing misconceptions about low-carb diets, body weight, sugar, and more!
